The Community
In November 2024, a member of the XDC family had a goal of running a full marathon (42.195 km) in under 4 hours, as a personal challenge. The team all came together to help him achieve his goal. We planned the course, the logistics, the pace… all the way down to the finish line.
And he did it! He ran the full distance in 3 hours and 59 minutes! We had a blast helping him cross the finish line and achieve his goal.
Then we had an idea… since everyone had fun being part of this activity, and since everyone contributed to make it happen, what if we kept it going? And that's how the Community was born.
The XDC Community is a group of people, that have been brought together by XDC. Most are divers, few are non-divers, but all have XDC culture and values at heart. The purpose is to have a place for members to plan and participate in non-dive related events, suggest a hang out, seek advice, find support…
We follow a few simple ground rules: respect one another, accept everyone, and contribute to the community.

This group is all about:
connecting, sharing, and organizing activities that we can all enjoy.
Everyone is welcome, and we encourage you to join in and share any activity you'd like to participate in or organize.
Anyone can suggest and organize an activity and anyone can join it.
There is no constraint on the type of activity: it can be sports, chilling, outdoors, indoors, food related, cultural...
It is also a forum for anyone to ask for advice, help, guidance...
However, to keep this a positive space for everyone, we do have a few simple ground rules:
* No bullying or personal attacks – We are here to support and uplift each other.
* No bystanders - everyone must contribute one way or another.
* No discussions on politics or religion – Let’s keep the focus on having fun and staying united.
* No unnecessary or off-topic conversations – Please stick to discussions that align with the purpose of this group,
which is to organize and participate in activities.
We want this to be an inclusive, fun, and respectful space for everyone.
Let's work together to make our community even stronger!
