Advanced Trimix - Hypoxic Course

PREREQUISITES
Candidate should be certified as Trimix Diver
Possess a log book were dives are logged for reference
Liability releases and medical report will be requested prior to course enrollment.
Minimum age requirement: 18 years
100 logged dives at the time of certification
Complete personal SCUBA gear

COURSE BREAKDOWN
Academics: Minimum 5 Hours
OW: 2

Skills to be tested, acquired & expectation to learn:
  • Gas planning based on equivalent narcotic depths, nitrogen and helium absorption and elimination, CNS and OTU limits, isobaric counter diffusion, volume requirements, etc.
  • Use of Hypoxic gasses
  • HPNS and isobaric counter diffusion
  • Decompression gas choices
  • Tables vs. personal dive computers
  • Emergency and contingency planning (equipment failure, omitted decompression, etc.)
  • Decompression diving procedures
  • Equipment selection
  • Pre-dive checks and drills
  • Stress analysis and mitigation
  • Following a decompression schedule
  • Gas switching
  • Team awareness and communication
  • SMB/lift bag deployment
  • Proper trim, buoyancy and fining techniques
  • Management of multiple (minimum of 3) decompression/stage cylinders
  • Emergency procedures (equipment failures, catastrophic gas loss, omitted decompression, navigational errors, injured/unconscious diver, etc)
  • Equipment considerations, cylinder labeling, analyzing Trimix, Nitrox and mixes, and gas blending procedures

RATE
Course Fees are USD 750- (excluding Gazes & eLearning)

SCHEDULE
Schedules are based on availability and your preferred timing.
Sessions will be scheduled sequentially after each previous session.

CERTIFICATION
No certifications are to be issued unless all the below are met:
Prerequisites met
Course fully completed (Online education system, Online exam with a score of +75%, Briefings & Water training)
Certification is earned
Courses fees completely paid

RULES
Skipping a pre-planned/approved session (within 24 hours) will result on a 150$ extra charge per course dive to reschedule the session
After 3 months from date of enrollment, if the course is not fully completed in terms of: Online Course, Online exam and water training dives, it will result on cancelling the course without any compensation.
The course fees are non-refundable in the event: Attendee Stopped, By-passed 3 months or Cancelled for any reason, and if the amount is not fully paid, the diver will be liable for the remaining unpaid balance.
